Reality Hacking

LISTEN TO THE PODCAST

Hi everyone and welcome to The Limitless Blog. My name is Radhika and I'm the founder of Jiva More Life. Our mission is to inspire you to believe that you are limitless. Today, I'm talking about changing your reality and what shapes it.

What does it mean to trust the universe?

When you trust the universe, it means that you believe that everything happens for a reason. For example, if you're working really hard for something, you believe that it's going to happen or it's going to work. All the work that you're putting in is going to pay off. However, it may be in a different way than you're looking at right now, but it will come to fruition. It also means that if things go wrong, you trust it's happening for a reason. For example, maybe it's going wrong to steer you in a different direction because you should be focused somewhere else. It's having that bigger belief that there's forces larger than you at work here. It's not just you. While you do have to put in the hard work and you do have to take advantage of the opportunities around you, you can't control everything. There is something else, AKA the universe, adding into that mix and ultimately helps you get to where you need to be.

How can you change your reality?

Your reality is shaped by the things around you. So I think in order to change our reality, the life you're living and what you're doing every day, you have to change what you're surrounded by. Whether that's the people that you're talking to, the job that you're doing, the books that you're reading, even what you're listening to. For example, if you're listening to a certain type of music or certain podcasts, they will really shape what you think about and how you see the world. So if you change what you’re surrounded by, you'll change how you see the world, your life and you'll also change your reality.

I loved the part where you talk about how to change your reality by changing your surroundings. I think sometimes we feel like “changing your reality” is going to be some huge task, but actually it can be a bunch of smaller ones like you mentioned. For example, just listening to different music or reading different kinds of books. It really is just one step at a time.
